O Lord, You have guided us so far

From a small fishing village of yesterday,

To a cosmopolitan city of today.

You have blessed us with many good things

O Lord remind us not to take any of Your blessings for granted,

Remind us where does it come from.

Lest we become arrogant and forget You O Lord,

For everything good comes from You and You alone.

May You guide the leaders of this country,

Bestow upon them wisdom from above.

To lead this nation in peace and prosperty

So that we can continue to be a blessing to the world
