Hullo all you diligent muggers haha.
Hope each of you are placing your trust in the Lord and pulling through the mugging just fine :]

But more than anything, hope you guys don't lose sight of why you're mugging and frying away your brains. Is it simply to get that string of A1s which nobody - yeh not even yourself - can honestly remember in 5 years' time? Or do you fry your brains because you honestly really want to glorify God?

While I was younger (ahem!) and back at school, every mugging season I prayed particularly a whole lot more and tried to psycho myself to be closer to God. Quite common right? But I came to realise that this mentality was really treating God as a crutch and some magic potion to get what I wanted- my string of As, to get wherever I wanted to be.

But the truth is, if we are truly children of God, it's really not about us and what we want. Instead, we mug and fry our brains away because He gave us these brains so we can glorify Him. And at the end of the day, our report card that counts for eternity is really Him grading us on our lives- whether we lived with a passionate diligence to follow and glorify Him. And these are the qualifications and grades that instead really, really matter.
